Smiles all round for this winning team – congratulations to all

We often get feedback from our customers to let us know how much they love their custom apparel or how well their team did in a competition. It’s always good to get good news.

Here’s another good news story from Josh Crawford of Motion Racing: a team of young Australians competing at the F1 Schools World Finals.

Hey Sam

I’ve just arrived home, so I am not sure if news has reached you regarding how team Motion Racing went at the F1 in Schools World Finals.

We came fifth overall, taking out the award for Best Team Pit Display and being nominated for two others – Best Verbal Presentation and Best Portfolio.

I must say that everyone, including many of the Formula One crew members and other officials commented on the quality and design of our uniforms. Needless to say I think there were quite a fair few teams who were jealous of them. So for that I thank you and Captivations’ support of our team over the past 12 months. Your support has been an immense asset to our team, particularly in the marketing and corporate identity elements of the competition.

I have attached a photo of the team with our trophies. Each member received a wheel nut on a slab of Carbon Fiber from a Torro Rosso Formula One Car, signed by one of their drivers, the larger one is from the gear box, I think again courtesy of the Torro Rosso Formula One team (Red Bull’s second F1 team).

When I recover from my jetlag and return to school,  I’ll compile a group of photos taken at the World Finals and send them out to you and our other sponsors.

Best Wishes

Josh Crawford

Coming fifth overall in the world is a huge effort. Well done to the team and we’re delighted that you loved your uniforms – and that others at the world meet did too. We are keen to support the education and advancement of Australian youth. It was a privilege to be involved.\
